The Sports Recruiting Workshop - "Recruiting Issues for Student-Athletes and Parents"
During this two hour program young athletes and their parents gain an insight into the entire college athletic recruiting process. This workshop goes beyond just the NCAA rules to also address issues ranging from handling telephone calls to how to market yourself if the phone doesn't ring. Topics covered include:
  • When and How are you evaluated
  • NCAA initial eligibility rules and recruiting rules
  • Letters, phone calls, home visits, campus visits
  • Strategies for making a good decision
